Entering destinations
Selecting Points of Interest (parking, gas station, etc.)
Note:
The Points of Interest listed here are examples only. The availability and the names of
the Points of Interest depend on the navigation CD ROM used.
Use (the lighthouse icon) to select your destination from a variety of Points of
Interest. You can select this list to refer to your current location (ONear current posi-
tion�), to the last destination you entered for navigation (OLast destination�) or to any
town/city you choose (OSelect town�). The destinations on the list for your ONear cur-
rent position� and OLast destination� are sorted according to their distance away; for
OSelect town� the destinations are sorted alphabetically.
Plus Point: This feature makes it easy for you to find the nearest Gas station,
for example.
The surrounding destinations available will vary, depending on the location or desti-
nation surroundings and cover an area within a radius of approx. 12 mi (for airports up
to 50 mi) around your current vehicle position.
1.To select a Points of Interest, select in the ODestination� menu. Press
OK.
The OPoints of Interest� menu will appear. 4
2.Move the selection bar to the desired reference point (ONear current posi-
tion�, OLast destination� or Oselect town�). Press OK .
3.If you select OSelect town�, you must have first entered the place at which
you want to select a surrounding destination.
Plus Point: Enter the destination here in the same way as described for the
direct destination entry.
Once you have determined the town/city, the list of destinations will appear. 4
4.Select the desired Point of Interest. Press OK .
