The light-source lamp has a service life of approximately 1000 hours. Be sure that the power cord is unplugged from the wall outlet.
When the light-source lamp approaches the end of its service life, degradation progresses rapidly.
The LAMP indicator and the message on the screen warn you that replacement of the lamp is required, as follows:1Remove the lamp-replacement opening

lamp is still high and could cause a burn. Allow a cooling period of one hour or more before performing replacement.

the wall outlet. If you perform the replacement work with the power cord connected, this could cause injury or electric shock.
