TIMER RECORDING

6Press selection keys to set the desired stop time (ASTOPB),
Manual Timer Programmingthen press E.
IEach press of FG increases/decreases the stop time in
1 minute interval.
ITo increase/decrease the stop time in 30minutes interval,
press and hold FG.
You can program this unit to timer record as many as 8 programs
7Press selection keys to set the desired channel (ACHB), then
up to 30 days in advance. If you do not know the PlusCode number
press E.
for the program you wish to record, use the following procedure to
set your unit to timer record the program.8Set the other recording options as required.
IRefer to step 6 in ?VCR Plus+ Timer Programming? (Apg.37).
ITurn on the unit.
9Press ENTER to access the Program Confirmation screen.
ITurn on the TV and select an input mode such as EXT1.
IMake sure that the unit?s built-in clock is set properly.10Press ENTER to complete the timer programming.
ITo program another timer, repeat steps 2-10.
11Press TIMERj to engage the unit?s timer mode.
IThe unit turns off automatically and j appears on the front
display panel.
ITo disengage the timer mode, press TIMERj again.
NOTES:
IWhen two successive programs are recorded with the ?Manual
Timer Programming? function, the ending of the first program or
the beginning of the second program may not be recorded.
IIf the copy limited program is received during timer recording, the
TIMERjunit enters Record Pause mode. Recording starts again if it is
switched to a recordable broadcast during the time you
PROG
programmed.

To record a satellite broadcast using Manual Timer
Programming:
A Perform Manual Timer Programming.
ISet the channel to the external input (AL-1B or AF-1B)
connected to the cable box or DBS receiver.
B Set the cable box or DBS receiver to the appropriate channel
for recording.
ILeave the cable box or DBS receiver?s power on.
1Load a recordable disc.
