On-screen Language Set
Language
This unit offers you the choice to view on-screen messages in 3
different languages.
I Turn on the unit.
1Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.
I Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
I Slide the TV/CABLE/DBS/DVD switch to DVD.2Press we to select ?FUNCTION SET UP?, then press t.
3Press we to select ?DISPLAY
DVD VIDEO SET UP HDD/DVD SET UP FUNCTION SET UPINITIAL SET UP
CABLE/DBSSET?, then press t.RECORD/PLAYDISPLAY SETVIDEO IN/OUT
TVDVD
4Press rt to select ?ON SUPERIMPOSEAUTO
BLUE BACKON
SCREEN LANGUAGE?, then
DIMMERBRIGHT
press ENTER.POWER SAVEOFF
ON SCREEN LANGUAGEENGLISH
5Press rt to select your
SET UPENTERSELECT WITH [ ] THEN PRESS [ENTER]
desired language, then press PRESS [SET UP] TO EXIT
EXITSELECT
ENTER.
6Press SET UP to complete the setting.

Some DVD discs contain the DVD menu display, audio and
subtitles in multiple languages. With these discs, you can set the
default language as you like.
I The procedure shows how to set ?MENU LANGUAGE? as an
example.
1Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.
2Press we to select ?DVD VIDEO SET UP?, then press ENTER.
3Press we to select
DVD VIDEO SET UP HDD/DVD SET UP FUNCTION SET UPINITIAL SET UP
SET UP?LANGUAGE SET?, then press LANGUAGE SETAUDIO OUTPUTPARENTAL LOCKDISC SET UP

NOTE:
When the selected language is not available on the disc, the disc?s
default menu language is played back.
