The remote control is capable of controlling four JVC video units 7890 - 9
independently. Each of the units can respond to one of four codes 0
(1, 2, 3 or 4). The remote control is preset to send 3 code signals
because your unit is initially set to respond to 3 code signals. You
can easily modify your unit to respond to 1, 2 or 4 code signals.ENTER

Your remote control can operate the basic functions of your TV set.
In addition to JVC TVs, other manufacturer?s TVs can also be
controlled.

IMPORTANT:
Although the supplied remote control unit is compatible with JVC
televisions, as well as many other models, it may not work with your TV,
ENTERor in some instances, may have limited function capability.
SET UP
I Keep pressing SET UP down during step 1.
1Enter your TV?s brand code using the number keys, then press

ENTER.
2Press 1 on the unit?s remote control to turn on the TV and try
operations ( step 3).
I Once you have set the remote control to operate the TV, you do not
have to repeat this step until you replace your remote control?s
batteries.
I Some brands of TVs have more than one code. If the TV does not

3Press the corresponding button to operate the TV: 1, TV/VCR,
to change the remote control code, then press ENTER.

3Press 4 on the unit for over 5 seconds while the unit is turned
off. The code currently set appears on the front display panel.

code currently set on the remote control blinks on the front display JVC01, 03
