This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

Power
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK

1Insert the terminal end of the battery pack into the
battery pack mount ), then firmly push the end of theTo DC
battery pack in the direction of the arrow until it locksconnector
into place as shown in the illustration.
2Set the Power Switch 8 to OOFFÃ�. Connect the ACAC
Adapter to the camcorder, then connect the PowerAdapter
Cord to the AC Adapter.

3Plug the Power Cord into an AC outlet. The Power

lamp 6 on the camcorder blinks to indicate charging
has started.To AC outlet6
4When the Power lamp 6 goes off, charging is
finished. Unplug the Power Cord from the AC outlet.Battery pack
Disconnect the AC Adapter from the camcorder.
To Detach The Battery Pack:
While sliding BATT. RELEASE y up, detach it.
ATTENTION
Battery packCharging time
Before detaching the power source, make sure that the
BN-V107Uapprox. 1 hr. 30 min.
camcorderOs power is turned off. Failure to do so can
BN-V114U (optional)approx. 3 hrs.result in a camcorder malfunction.
