I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

PLAYBACK Features

Power Zoom LeverAdjust the brightness of the LCD monitor
To brighten the image, turn the BRIGHT Dial towards O+Ã�.
To darken the image, turn the Dial towards OÄ�Ã�.
Speaker Volume Control
You can adjust the speaker volume by pushing the Power
Zoom Lever.
ADJUST VOLUME
1If you want to turn up the volume . . .
.... push the Power Zoom Lever towards OTÃ�.
If you want to turn down the volume . . .
BRIGHT Dial
.... push the Power Zoom Lever towards OWÃ�.
Tracking
This function can be used to eliminate noise bars that

appear on-screen during playback. Initial setting is Auto
P.AE ButtonTracking. Manual Tracking is also available.
EFFECT Button
ACTIVATE MANUAL TRACKING
1Press P.AE and EFFECT simultaneously. Then, press
P.AE or EFFECT as many times as necessary until the
Displaynoise bars disappear.
YTo return to Auto Tracking, press P.AE and EFFECT
PLAYBACKsimultaneously. OATÃ� blinks. When Auto Tracking
finishes, the indication disappears.
NOTES:
cWhen noise bars appear during playback, the
BRIGHT
camcorder enters the Auto Tracking mode and OATÃ� is
BRIGHTdisplayed.
cManual Tracking may not work with tapes recorded on
other VCRs or camcorders.
VOLUME
