Inputs can be set for TV or AV mode. AV mode is used when a video

Note : When a VCR is connected via the aerial socket the set is used

1. Repeatedly press the MENU button to select the Special menu.
2. Press the DD / EE button to select Input.
3. Press the FF / GG button to selectTV, AV 1, AV 2 or AV 3.
The three AV modes are :
AV1 : VCR connected to the Euro scart socket 1 on the back
AV2 : VCR connected to the Euro scart socket 2 on the back
123TV/AV
AV3 : VCR connected to the AV3 sockets on the side panel
ARC
To return to TV mode, press the DD / EE or NUMBER buttons.456
Alternatively you can select the TV or AV mode by pressing the789PSM
TV/AV button.

Auto AV switching

If your VCR outputs switching voltage when it is switched to play-OK
back with the VCR connected to the Euro scart socket 1 or 2. TheTEXT MENUSLEEP
set is automatically switched to AV 1 or AV 2 mode when an AV sig-PR
nal is input. But if you want to keep on watching TV mode, press the

Press the TV/AV button to return to AV modes.

4. Press theTV/AV button to return to normal TV viewing.
W ith the lock on, the display Child lock On appears on the screen
if any button on the front panel is pressed while viewing the TV.
Note : The display Child lock On will not appears on the screen if
any button on the front panel is pressed while displaying the menus.
Auto sleep
If you select Auto sleep On the set will automatically switch itself
to standby mode approximately ten minutes after a TV station stops
broadcasting.
1. Repeatedly press the MENU button to select the Special menu.
2. Press the DD / EE button to select Auto sleep.
3. Press the FF / GG button to select On.
4. Press the TV/AV button to return to normal TV viewing.
