Child Lock
Using the child lockremains unaffected. You could therefore set that all VCDs are locked and all
DVDs are played simultaneously.
The ?Child Lock? window has the following structure on DVDs:
Changing the PIN
DVD menu1. Go to the item ?Change PIN?.
Child Lock2. Enter a new PIN of your choice with the numeric buttons.
Lock level
3. This changes the PIN.

Delete PIN4. Please remember your new PIN!

Deletion of the PIN deactivates the child lock.
1. Go to the item ?Delete PIN?.
Back2. Press the button OK.

3. This deletes your PIN and deactivates the child lock.
On VCD/SVCDs, the items ?Location of Set? and ?Lock disc? are omitted.

If you want to have the PIN prompted before playing certain DVDs:
OKPress the button OK.
1. Go to the item ?Lock disc?.
This sets the child lock to the lock level you have selected.The entry gets the sufŢ x ?(0/20)?: Lock disc (0/20)
No DVD is locked yet (?0?); you can lock a maximum 20 DVDs.
Different options:
? ?off? option: Child lock is switched off. No PIN code is prompted (unless the
DVD is locked; see below).2. Press the button OK.

Note: For VCD/SVCDs, ?Lock level? only has the options ?on? and ?off?. In
option ?on?, you have to enter your PIN before playing any VCD (corresponds to
the ?general? option for DVDs); the PIN is never prompted in the ?off? option.
