Enabling digital CD audioWindows 2000/Me
In order to listen to CDs in your computerOs 1Open the System control panel.
CD-ROM drive via USB, you must enable digi-
tal CD audio for your CD-ROM drive as fol-2If you are using Windows 2000, click the

Manager. If you are using Windows Me,
Windows 98/98SEclick the Device manager tab.
1Open the Multimedia control panel and 3Select your CD-ROM drive from the list,
click the CD Music tab.and then click the Properties button.
4Click the Properties tab, and then turn
on OEnable digital CD audio for this
CD-ROM device.�
2Select the ODefault CD-ROM drive for
playing CD music.�
3Turn on OEnable digital CD audio for this
CD-ROM device.�
5Click OK to close the window, and then

Note that if the CR-N1 has not been rec-
ognized successfully by your PC, or your
CD-ROM drive does not support digital
audio output, you will not be able to turn
on OEnable digital CD audio for this
CD-ROM device.�
