Recording from an external device
When connecting to the IN2/DV input terminals on the front of
POWERthe unit
eYou can also connect to the IN1 input terminals on the rear of the
unit.

DV IDVN INIf the audio output of the other equipment is monaural
Connect to L/MONO. (Both left and right channels are recorded
when connected through L/MONO.)
eThe S-VIDEO terminal achieves a more vivid picture than the
VIDEO terminal.

be recorded.

Note
eWhen recording using the unit?s input terminals, only the sound received at the time of recording will be recorded. As long as secondary
audio that is recorded on the media in the external device is not output to the unit in play, it is not recorded.
eWhen recording using IN1 or IN2 terminals, only the sound received at the time of recording will be recorded.
For your reference
eAlmost all videos and DVD software on sale have been treated to prevent illegal copying. Such software cannot be recorded.
