Troubleshooting guide
Sound incorrect
Sound distorted.e Select ?Off? in ?Advanced Surround?. (9)
e Move unit away from mobile phones.
e Noise may occur when playing WMA or MPEG4 files.
Effects do not work.e Some audio effects do not work or have less effect with some discs.
e H.Bass, Advanced Surround and Sound Enhancement do not work if you have changed the play speed.
No sound from the unit?s e The speaker is off if the LCD is closed or headphones are connected.

?H ?e Trouble has occurred. The number appearing after ?H? depends on the problem. Turn the unit off and on again.

Maintenance
To clean this unit, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
e Use eyeglass cleaner to remove stubborn dirt from the LCD.
e Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this unit.
Maintenance of the lens
e Remove dust carefully with an air blower for camera lenses (optional).
e Recommended product:
Lens cleaner kit (SZZP1038C)
(Available from Panasonic dealers.)
e You cannot use a CD type lens cleaner.
e Be careful not to touch the lens with your fingers.
To clean discs
Wipe with a damp cloth and then wipe dry.
Disc handling precautions
e Do not attach labels or stickers to discs (This may cause disc warping, rendering it unusable).
e Do not write on the label side with a ball-point pen or other writing instrument.
e Do not use record cleaning sprays, benzine, thinner, static electricity prevention liquids or any
other solvent.
e Do not use scratch-proof protectors or covers.
e Do not drop stack, or impact discs. Do not place objects on them.
e To protect discs from scratches and dirt, return them to their cases or cartridges when you are not using them.
e Do not use the following discs:
- Discs with exposed adhesive from removed stickers or labels (rented discs etc).
- Discs that are badly warped or cracked.
- Irregularly shaped discs, such as heart shapes.
