Basic play
1Power ON.2Open the disc tray.

3Load the disc.4Start play.
Stop
e Load double-sided discs so the label for the
side you want to play is facing up.
eDVD-RAM: Remove discs from their
cartridges before use.
SkipSearch (during play)
e Press [:9] to skip chapters, tracks, etc.
Slow-motion (during pause)
e [DVD-VR] Can also skip to the markers.
e Up to 5 steps
Basic playe Press [1 ] (PLAY) to restart play.
e [VCD] Slow-motion: forward direction only
e [MPEG4] [DivX] Slow-motion: Does not work.
Stop
The position is memorized when ?! ? flashes on the display.
e Press [1 ] (PLAY) to resume. (Resume play)
e Press [+ ] to clear the position.Pause
e Press [1 ] (PLAY) to restart play.
Standby/on switch (? /I)[Note]
Press to switch the unit from on to standby mode or vice versa. In standby mode, the unit eDISCS CONTINUE TO ROTATE WHILE MENUS ARE DISPLAYED. Press [+ ]
is still consuming a small amount of power.when you finish to preserve the unit?s motor and your television screen.
e To play [MP3] or [JPEG] contents on DVD-RAM, set ?DVD-VR/DATA? to ?DATA? (� 17,
?OTHERS? menu).
e Total title number may not be displayed properly on i R/i RW.
