CD PLAYER
Playing a CD
1. Press POWER to on position.

2. Press CD source button. POWER

� The CD indicator lights up.E RECORDE
3. To open the CD door, press OPEN on the CD door.DBB
4. Insert a CD with the printed side facing up and press the CDCDSHUFFLE
TUNER
door gently to close.
5. Press PLAY/PAUSE 2; on the set to start playback.

6. Adjust the sound using VOLUME and DBB.

7. To interrupt playback press PLAY/PAUSE 2;. To resume,CDTUNERTAPEPROG
press PLAY/PAUSE 2; again.REPEATSTOPSEARCH

8. To stop CD play, press STOP 9.
9. Press POWER again to switch off the set.FM MHz 88 Y 9

Note: CD playback will also stop when:
� you press the CD door open;
� TUNER or TAPE source is pressed;

Selecting a different track
During playback, you can use the SEARCH buttons to select a

position, press PLAY/PAUSE 2; to start playback.

Finding a passage within a track
1. Press and hold down SEARCH ! or ".
Y The CD is played at high speed and low volume.
2. When you recognize the passage you want, release the
SEARCH button.
