Sleep Timer 47
Use the sleep timer to program the TV/VCR to shut off in a cer-
tain amount of time.

Press the PLAY/oo button or the STOP/pp button to select/OTR/STILL
PLAY
SLEEP. Then press the REW(ind)/s button or the
F.FWD/B button to select 30 MIN(utes), 60 MIN(utes),REWF.FWD
90 MIN(utes), or 120 MIN(utes). (You can not set the sleepSTOP2
timer during a recording.)

Press the STATUS/EXIT button. The TV/VCR will shut itself
off after the specified amount of time.
One minute before the TV/VCR shuts itself off, the seconds will
count down on the screen.
GOOD NIGHT appears on the TV/VCR screen 10 seconds
before the TV/VCR shuts itself off.
Helpful Hints
Y To cancel the sleep timer, press the
SLEEP/WAKE UP button. Press the
PLAY/o button or the STOP/p but-
ton to select SLEEP, then press the
REW(ind)/ss button or the
F.FWD/BB button to select OFF. Press
the STATUS/EXIT button.
Y To see how much time remains
before the TV/VCR shuts itself off,
press the SLEEP/WAKE UP button
once. If necessary, press the PLAY/o
button or the STOP/p button to
select SLEEP. The remaining time will
appear beside SLEEP. To remove the
display, press the STATUS/EXIT but-
ton.
Y If you start a recording after you set
the Sleep Timer, the Sleep Timer will
be cancelled. |
