Set the aspect ratio of the DVD Player
1In disc mode, press SYSTEM MENU.
according to the TV you have connected.
2Press 1 2 to select �Video SetupO icon.The format you select must be available
3Press OK to confirm.on the disc. If it is not, the setting for TV
display will not affect the picture during
GeneralAudioVideoPreferenceplayback.

a normal TV and want
both sides of the
picture to be trimmed or formatted to fit
TV Type
your TV screen.
This menu contains the options for
selecting the colour system that matches4:3 LETTER BOX �
the connected TV. For details, see pageSelect this if you have a

wide picture with black
bands on the upper and lower portions of
the TV screen will be
displayed.
16:9 � Select this if
you have a wide-
screen TV.
3Select an item and press OK.
TIPS:To return to the previous menu, press 1.
To remove the menu, press SYSTEM MENU.
