The same password is used for bothSetting the DEFAULT function will reset
Parental Control and Disc Lock. Enterall options and your personal settings to
your six-digit password when promptedthe factory defaults, except your
on the screen. The default password ispassword for Parental Control and Disc

1In �PREFERENCE PAGEO, press 3 4 to1In �PREFERENCE PAGEO, press 3 4 to
highlight {PASSWORD}, then press 2 tohighlight {DEFAULT}, then press 2 to
select {CHANGE}.select {RESET}.
2Press OK and the menu appears.2Press OK to confirm.
� All settings will now reset to factory
defaults.

3Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to enter
your old six-digit password.
� When doing this for the first time, key
in �136900O.
� If you forget your old six-digit
password, key in �136900O.
4Enter the new six-digit password.
5Enter the new six-digit password a second
time to confirm.
� The new six-digit password will now
take effect.
6Press OK to confirm.
TIPS: The underlined option is the factory default setting.
Press 1 to go back to the previous menu item. Press SETUP to exit the menu item.
