- With the infrared remote control, you can set the suction power to one of 5 different suction
power settings. When you switch on the appliance, it always starts running at the highest suction
power setting.

adjusting suction power
- During vacuum cleaning, you can adjust the suction power with the knob on top of the
appliance. (Fig. 19)
- If your appliance has a remote control, you can adjust the suction power with the + and -
buttons. See section Infrared remote control (specic types only).
- Use maximum suction power to vacuum clean very dirty carpets and hard oors.
- Use minimum suction power to vacuum clean curtains, table carpets, etc.
Parking the tube
- If you want to pause for a moment, insert the ridge on the nozzle into the parking slot to park
the tube in a convenient position (Fig. 20).
replacing/emptying the dustbag
Always unplug the appliance before you replace or empty the dustbag.

- Replace the dustbag as soon as the dustbag-full indicator has changed colour permanently, i.e.
