Using the kettle
C1Wind excess mains cord around the base of the appliance.
2Put the base with the kettle on a cool, flat surface, out of the
reach of children and put the plug in the wall socket.
Only use the kettle in combination with its original base.
3Take the kettle off its base.
C4Fill the kettle with water through the spout.
Never fill the kettle while it is standing on its base.

C� You can also open the lid to fill the kettle.

Do not put less than 0.1 litre of water in the kettle.
- If the kettle boils dry, it will switch off automatically but the On/Off
switch will stay in the "I" position.After 10 minutes the kettle must be
lifted off the base to reset its dry-boil protection, you can use the
kettle again.
Do not fill the kettle beyond the 'MAX' indication.
- If too much water has been put in the kettle, boiling water may be
ejected from the spout.
5Close the lid and put the kettle on its base.
Make sure the lid is properly closed, otherwise the kettle will boil dry.
C6Set the On/Off switch to position "I".
The kettle starts heating up.
7The appliance switches off automatically when the water has
reached the boiling point.
The On/Off switch returns to the "O" position.
8You can interrupt the boiling process by setting the On/Off
switch to "O". |
