Y The system is turned on or placed into the
standby mode.
3Confirm that the STANDBY indicators light up red,
and then press any button from 0 to 9 on the
remote control unit or STANDBY/ON on the
Plasma Display to turn the system on.

YIn the standby mode, when you press 0, the
power turns on and the on-screen image comes

from the INPUT 1 source. Or, when you press
any button from 1 to 9, a TV image displays.

Turning off the power
1Press a on the remote control unit or STANDBY/
ON on the Plasma Display.
Y The system enters standby mode and the image
on the screen disappears.
Y Both STANDBY indicators light up in red.
Media ReceiverY It is recommended to place the system into the
standby mode after using it. This allows the
system to automatically receive Electronic
Program Guide information signals in the
standby mode.
2Press POWER on the Media Receiver.

Y The STANDBY indicator on the Media Receiver
POWER ON indicatorturns off and the one on the Plasma Display
flashes red.

3Press POWER on the Plasma Display.
Y The STANDBY indicator on the Plasma Display
turns off.
YYou can also reverse steps 2 and 3.
Y If you are not going to use this system for a long
period of time, be sure to remove the power cord
from the power outlet.
Y When the system is placed into the standby mode,
the main power flow is cut and the system is no
longer fully operational. A minute flow of power feeds
the system to maintain operation readiness.
