Rating
Playing some DVD discs can be limited depending on
the age of the users. The default setting is "UNLOCK".

When you use this function for the first time, you have
to set a password.

Notes
< If the rating of the loaded DVD disc is higher than the
DVD
level you set, the system will refuse to play the disc.
SETUP
< To change the rating level, a correct password is
needed to key in.
How to set and change the password
for Rating
1Select "PASSWORD" and press the ENTER button.
2Enter your old password using the numeric buttons
(0 to 9).
When you use this unit for the first time, enter the
default password "1234".
3Enter your new password using the numeric buttons
(0 to 9).
Your password should be other than "2580".
4Press the ENTER button.
Notes
The password is used to change the rating level.
Please write your password down and put in a safe
place.
< If you forget your password, initialize the DVD
settings and set a new password in step 3 .
How to Change the Rating Level
1Select "RATING" and press the ENTER button.
2Enter your password using the numeric buttons (0 to
9).
If you enter the wrong password, "PASSWORD
WRONG" appears on the screen, and you cannot go
to the next step.
< If you want to quit setting the parental control level,
press the DVD SETUP button.
3Press the ENTER button repeatedly to change the
level.
The lower the level is set, the stricter the limitation is
offered.
4Press the DVD SETUP button.
Now the parental control level has been changed.
