Switching the Television On and Off Automatically

You can set the On/Off timers so that the television will:
Switch on automatically and tune to the channel of your
Time
choice at the time you select
Clock : 11 : 35
Timer : Off
Switch off automatically at the time you select
The first step is to set the televisionOs clock (refer to

OSetting and Displaying the Current Time� on the
previous page). If you have not yet set the clock, the

2Press the or button to select the OFunction� and press the -or
On Time : -- : --
+button.
Off Time : -- : --
3Press the or button to select the OTime�, and press the -or +
button.
Select Adjust Exit
Result: The OTime� menu is displayed.
4Press the or button to select the OTimer�.

5Press the -or + button to set the mode to OOn�.
Timer : On
On Time : 07 : 00
Result:The OOn time�andOOff time� options are displayed.
Off Time : -- : --
6Press the or button to select the OOn time�.
Select Adjust Exit
7Set the time at which you wish the television to be switched On.
To...Press the...
TimeMove to the hour or minute-or +button.

Off Time : 11 : 30
8In the same way, set the time at which you wish the television to be
switched Off.
Select Adjust Exit9When you have finished setting the On/Off time, press the TV
button or, press the MENU button repeatedly to return to normal
viewing.
LFuzzy Power Off
If no function buttons (including remote control buttons
or front panel buttons) are operated for three hours after
the TV is turned on by OOn time�, the TV will be
automatically turned off.
