I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

All schematics for the Euro-PC and some extra info. Needed if you want to replace some missing hardware. A piece of great historical value and for vintage computing entusiasts.

Talk about a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!! This schematic will also work for the Radio Shack DX-392. This is the full blown service manual complete with alignment instructions, schematics, and parts lists.

SERVICING
Before contacting your local Service Centre, please make the following checks:

nThe ON/OFF button has not been depressed
The machine does not start up

nThe selector dial is not correctly positioned

The machine does not fillThe water taps are not turned on
nThe water supply has been disconnected
nThe inlet hoses are kinked
nThe water pressure is too low
nThe water inlet filters are clogged
nThe door is not closed properly
The machine empties as it fillsnThe end of the drain hose is too low
nThe end of the drain hose is submerged in
water
nDrain pipe has no vent-hole
nYou have selected a gentle cycle with the RINSE
The machine does not drain or spin
HOLD option which stops with the water of the
last rinse in the tub
nThe drain filter is clogged
nThe drain hose is kinked
nThe drainage system pipes are blocked
nThe drain hose extension is incorrect
nThe wash load is unbalanced. Redistribute the
load inside the drum to allow the machine to spin.
