4. Drain pump
The machine is equipped with a self-cleaning
pump which does not need any cleaning.
5. Emergency emptying out
If the water is not discharged, proceed as
follows to empty out the machine:
npull out the plug from the power socket;
nclose the water tap;
nif necessary, wait until the water has cooled
down;
nplace a bowl on the floor;
nput the drain hose end into the bowl and let
the water come out.
6. The dangers of freezing
If the machine is exposed to temperatures below
0!C, certain precautions should be taken.
nTurn off the water tap.
nUnscrew the inlet hose.
nUnhook the drain hose from the rear support
and position the end of this hose and that of
the inlet hose in a bowl. Run the draining
programme until the selector dial is in the
OStop� position.
nSwitch the machine off.
nScrew the inlet hose and reposition the drain
hose.
nWhen you intend to start the machine up
again, make sure that the room temperature
is above 0!C.
