Most HD stations are assigned Physical
channel numbers that differ from their

is actually broadcasting its HD signal on AUTO INSTALL TV >
a physical channel unrelated to Channel CABLE TUNING NO

2, say 19.1 for example. Selecting YES
CURRENT RING RING1
will cause the HD broadcast of Channel DIGITAL SETUP >
2 to appear as Channel 2.1, the virtual CONFIGURATION >
channel instead of the physical location
of the broadcast, 19.1.
