DISASSEMBLY
3.1 DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
3.1.1 REMOVING THE REAR COVER3.1.7 CHECKING THE CHASSIS
(1) Disconnect the power plug from wall outlet.To check the PW Board from back side.
(2) As shown in the Fig.1, remove the 11 screws [A].(1) Pull out the CHASSIS (refer to REMOVING THE CHASSIS).
(3) Withdraw the REAR COVER backward.(2) Erect the CHASSIS vertically so that you can easily check
the back side of the PW Board.
CAUTION :
3.1.2 REMOVING THE AV TERMINAL BOARD? When erecting the CHASSIS, be careful so that there will be
? Remove the REAR COVER.no contacting with other PW Board.
(1) As shown in Fig.1, remove the 6 screws [B].? Before turning on power, make sure that the wire connector
(2) Withdraw the AV TERMINAL BOARD toward you.is properly connected.
? When conducting a check with power supplied, be sure
to confirm that the CRT EARTH WIRE (BRAIDED ASS'Y)
3.1.3 REMOVING THE CHASSISis connected to the CRT SOCKET PWB.
? Remove the REAR COVER.
? Remove the AV TERMINAL BOARD.
(1) Slightly raise the both sides of CHASSIS by hand.3.1.8 WIRE CLAMPING AND CABLE TYING
(2) Remove the 2 claws under the both side of the CHASSIS(1) Be sure to clamp the wire.
from the front cabinet.(2) Never remove the cable tie used for tying the wires together.
(3) Withdraw the CHASSIS backward.Should it be inadvertently removed, be sure to tie the wires
(If necessary, remove the wire clamp, connectors etc.)with a new cable tie.
3.1.4 REMOVING THE SPEAKER
? Remove the REAR COVER.
(1) As shown in Fig.1, remove the 2 screws [C].
(2) Remove the 4 screws [D] and taking out the SPEAKER.
(3) Follow the same steps when removing the other hand
SPEAKER.
NOTE :
When remove the 2 screws [C] of the SPEAKER, taking out
the lower side screw first, and then takeing out the upper one.
3.1.5 REMOVING THE LED & POWER SW PWB
? Remove the REAR COVER.
(1) Remove the 2 screws [E] as shown in Fig.1.
(2) Withdraw the LED & POWER SW PWB toward you.
*If necessary, remove the wire clamp, connector etc.
3.1.6 REMOVING THE FRONT CONTROL PWB
? Remove the REAR COVER.
(1) Remove the 2 screws [F] as shown in Fig.1.
(2) Withdraw the FRONT CONTROL PWB toward you.
*If necessary, remove the wire clamp, connector etc.
