Pull out the misfed paper in the direc-

tions indicated by the arrows in the il-
lustrations.
Note
Y If you are using the paper feed unit (op-
tion) and cannot clear the misfeed using
this procedure.

Y If toxner gets on your hands, wash them
immediately.
Install the toner cassette into the ma-

chine.
Note
Y Be sure to hold the toner cassette by its handle.
Y Keep the toner cassette horizontal to avoid
spilling the toner.

Close the front unit.

If OClear Paper� is still displayed after you
clear the jam, there may be paper jammed in
another part of the machine. Check all areas
described in this section
Important!
If a paper misfeed occurs during a copy job, be sure to specify the desired copy
quantity again.
