Before connecting
Y The amplifier must be connected in the

Y To use the unit with the other Onkyo Sepa-
Tuner Amplifierrate Collection series components, follow the
connection diagram in the R-801A instruc-
tion manual to connect the unit to the sys-
tem.
MD recordercableY If you press the (OPEN/CLOSE) button while
the unit is in the STANDBY mode, the power
will turn on and the display will light up auto-
matically.

8 in. (3.5mm) diameter miniature two-conductor
