Cautions regarding use ofrechargeable(lithium ion) battery
The battery is a rechargeable lithium ion battery. Because of the properties of
this battery, it must be recharged at least once every3 months, even if it is not
used.
The battery can be recharged about300 times.
Donot use anybattery other than the specially provided rechargeablebattery.
Use of another battery will damage the unit.
When the service life of the battery is about half its normal life even after it has
been recharged, replace the battery witha new one.
After the battery has been charged, the unit may be used with the AC adaptor
connected. But if the unit is not used for a long time (such as overnight charging),
disconnect the AC adaptor.
When the battery is being charged or when the unit is being used, make sure the
surrounding temperatureis-The battery's service life is shortened in
cold locations.
Asmallamountofpowerisused even whentheunitisturnedOFF.Iftheunitis
not used for a long time, therefore, remove the battery and store it in a safe place.
Keep the terminal part free of foreign objects.

During battery charging or use of the unit, the battery may become warm. This
isnormalanddoesnotindicateamalfunction.

Batteries are supplied with this product. When they empty,
you should not throw away. Instead, hand them in as small
