I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

Nice, really nice. I was happy to receive manual in true electronic form, instead of scanned original. This manual includes: Wiring diagram, circuit diagram, block diagram, PC board, adjustment, exploded view, PARTS CATALOG and more.. It's full color manual, not B&W or grayscale :)

Before you start01
Removing the speaker grillesEnglish
Attaching the non-skid padsIf necessary, remove the front and (EV9DVD
EV7DVD/EV9DVD model onlyonly) surround speaker grilles as described
Use the self-adhesive non-skid pads to provide below.
a stable base for the speakers. Attach four to 1 Gently ease the grille loose by gripping
the bottom and pulling towards you.Deutscheach speaker or stand as shown below.
2 Pull the top free in the same way.
When reattaching, start from the top then
push the bottom in until secure.
" It is not recommended (due to dirt and
dust) to leave the speaker grilles removed.FranÃ§ais
" Do not install your speakers overhead on
Center speakerSurround speaker the ceiling or wall. If improperly attached,
(EV7DVD only)the speaker grille can fall and cause
damage or personal injury.
EV7DVD only Ä� If you choose to use the Front
Italianosurround 3-spot setup (as explained in Home
theater sound setup on page 21), we
recommend using the speaker stands provided
(instead of attaching the pads to the base of
the surround speakers). Using the speaker
stands for the Standard surround 5-spot setup Nederlands
is optional. See Attaching the surround
speakers to the speaker stands on page 10 for
more on this.
