Listening to the Radio
If the reception is poor
AM broadcast
Rotate or relocate the unit to find the best position for AM
stations.
TUNER
FM broadcastFM/AM
Extend and rotate the FM antenna until you receive the
stations clearly. You may need to relocate the unit.SKIP
FM MODE Button1Press the TUNER (FM/AM) button.
Pressing this button alternates between Stereo mode and
Mono mode.
2To select the band (AM or FM), press the TUNER (FM/AM)
button again.
3Select the station you want to listen to (auto selection).
Stereo:
FM stereo broadcasts are received in stereo and the
OSTEREO� indicator lights on the display.
Mono:
To compensate for weak FM stereo reception, select thisHold down the TUNING Up or Down button until the
mode. Reception will now be forced to monaural, reducing
frequency display begins to change. When a station is tuned
unwanted noise.in, the tuning process will stop automatically.
< Press the Up or Down button to stop the auto selection.
Selecting stations which cannot be tuned automatically
(manual selection)
When the Up or Down button is pressed momentarily, the
frequency changes by a fixed step.
Press the Up or Down button repeatedly until the station you
want to listen to is found.
