Talk about a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!! This schematic will also work for the Radio Shack DX-392. This is the full blown service manual complete with alignment instructions, schematics, and parts lists.

Contains mechanism diagrams, parts lists and schematics for all worldwide versions of DC-X88Z. Also includes remote schematic etc. A few non-essential pages are missing such as specifications. Includes the mechanical and electronic calibration instructions for the tape decks.

DVD Menu Operations
Setting the screen saverChanging the password
English
You can change the six-digit code used as
Password.
1In disc stop mode, press SETUP key on the
remote control.
2Press 1 / 2/ 5 / 4 on the remote control to
navigate in the menu.
If set to On, the screen saver will be activated
when you leave the system in stop or pause
mode for 5 minutes. The default setting is On.
Night mode - turning on/off
Å� Move to Ã�Preference PageÃ� and press 4.
Å� Move to OPasswordÃ� and press 2.
Å� Press OK.
The TV screen will display below picture
Off
Select this when you want to enjoy the surround
sound with its full dynamic range.
On
Select this to level out the volume. High volume
output will be softened and low volume output
will be brought upward to an audible level. This
feature is only available for movies with Dolby
Digital mode.3Use the numeric keys (0-9) to enter your six-
digit code.
Å� The password supplied by default is 136900.
I Go to OPasswordÃ� and enter your new code.
Then, enter the same code again to confirm.
4 Press SETUP again to remove the menu.
