To change the AM tuning interval
The defaultsettingoftheAM tuningintervalis10 kHz/step.If
you use thisunitinan areawhere thefrequencyallocation
systemis9 kHz/step,change thetuninginterval.
MONOHolddown theVIDEO 1/5.1CH/BAND buttonand pressthe
TUNER
POWER button.
To resettheinterval,repeatthisprocedure.

1Turn the FUNCTIONselectortoselecttheTUNER
function,and press the VIDEO 1/5.1CH/BAND
button repeatedlyto selectthe desired band.

The displaychangestofrequencyindicationsafterindicating
band and videosource(V1,V2 orV3)fortwo seconds.
2Press the UP or DOWNbutton to selecta station.
Each timethebuttonispressed,thefrequencychanges.
When a stationisreceived,?TUNE isdisplayedfortwo
seconds.DuringFM stereoreception,11{~11]isdisplayed.
To search fora stationquickly(Auto Search)
Keep the UP or DOWNbuttonpresseduntilthetunerstarls
searchingfora station.Aftertuningintoa station,thesearch
stops.
TostoptheAutoSearchmanually,presstheUP orDOWN button.
lThe Auto Search may not stopat stationswithvery weak
signals.
When an FM stereobroadcast contains noise
PresstheMONO TUNER buttonon theremotecontrolso that
?MONOappearson thedisplay.
Noiseisreduced,althoughreceptionismonaural.
MONO
To restorestereoreception,pressthebuttonso that?STEREO
appears.
