Improving the quality of the freeze-frame image
1During freeze-frame (playback/pause) press ?*P�? to adjust the pictureP
to suit your taste.
2Press ?? to return to normal playback.

The video stops the freeze-frame function after a certain period of time.
Eliminating picture disturbances
(adjusting the tracking position)
1During playback, use ?C? and ?D? to improve the picture quality as you
see it.
Your setting is retained until you remove the cassette.

medium tracking.
Automatic picture improvement system (ACC Plus)
Tapes recorded on other devices may have poor picture and sound quality. This
does not indicate a problem with your video recorder.
1During playback you can adjust the picture quality by pressing ?F? (softer)
or ?E? (sharper).

2To return to the medium setting, hold down the ?CLEAR? button until you
see the menu on the screen.

Selecting the audio track
You can select the audio signal you want to hear when playing tapes recorded
with stereo or two-channel broadcasts:
1During playback, call up the Audio menu by pressing ?AUDIO?.
2Select the ?AUDIO-MODE? line using ?C? or ?D?.
