10.5Buzzer problems
Buzzer tone can be checked with the test SIM ca?rLefd byt or pr upess aring row?.head
It is the same component than loudspeaker.
Try to fix the mobile, Otherwise, swap the board.
10.6No sound in Loudspeaker and HandsFree Problems
The sound from the loudspeaker can be checked with the test SIM c?a3r?.d by pressing key
Check HandsFree in Radio test when the mobile is on Audio Loop Test by pressing "OK" and Select "Call
HandsFree".
- Check the microphone and the earpiece and Fix them if it is necessary. If the failure cannot be found out, swap
the board.
10.7Communication problems
- Sound quality can be checked in audio loop test (sound dis?t)ortion, whistling, echo,
- If the mobile pass the radio tests successfully, we can assume that the phone works properly. The customer
must check the coverage area of his network operator or that he does not use the phone in a radio shadow
(outside the coverage area, in a tunnel or betw?een t)all buildings,
- If the mobile does not pass the radio tests, swap the board..
10.8Keyboard problems
- The keyboard can be checked with the test SIM card.
- If a key or a row does not respond, check the keyboard, change it if necessary. If the failure cannot be found
out, swap the board.
10.9Problems to send SMS messages
Check the Center number. It may be empty or wrong.
