2.1 Disk loading operation
1. When a disk is inserted, the left-side and right-side 8/12-detection arms are turned, and the loading motor is
triggered by the ON and OFF operation of the SW1.
2. Whenever a 12 cm disks is inserted, the right-side 8/12-detection arm will turn the SW3 ON as the disk is fed
further in, and the microcomputer will determine that the disk is a 12 cm disk.

3. If an 8 cm disk is inserted, it will not be brought the point where the right-side 8/12-detection arm turn the SW3
ON. For this reason, the clamp operation will continue and the microcomputer will determine that the disk is an 8
cm disk. (Since both the right and left-side 8/12-detection arms are coupled together, the coupled section is locked
in place until the both arms are being pushed, which allows the arms to only open to a certain width.)
