1-5. Replacing the Printed Circuit8. Remove the eight screws (PSW 3x6) and raise the
Boardsfront side of the IF-694 board and remove it by pulling
it up at an angle.

The BNC connector is fitted with a ring that is not
Replacement Partsecured. Be careful not to lose the ring when removing
the board.

Replacement Procedure
1. Turn off the main power and remove the AC plug from
the outlet.PSW 3x6PSW 3x6
2. Remove the top panel. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)PSW 3x6
3. Remove the optional board. (Refer to Section 1-5-2 or
Section 1-5-3.)
4. Remove the four connectors (CN100, CN101, CN200
and CN1600) from the IF-694 board.
5. Remove the connector CN100 from the DP-270 board.
6. Remove the three nuts fixing the three BNC connec-
tors and the three toothed washers.
7. Remove the four bolts fixing the two D-SUB connec-
tors.

9. Attach the new IF-694 board by reversing the disas-
CN1600sembly steps 8 to 4.
CN10010. Attach the optional board. (Refer to the InstallationNuts
Manual.)
11. Return all the settings to those before the board was
CN200
replaced.
Toothed If the setup data has been backed up, download the
washers
backup data to the new IF-694 board.
If the setup data was not backed up, use the Controller
IF-694 board
DP-270 boardSoftware and re-set all the settings.

If not all of the settings are returned to those before the
board was replaced, the BDX-N1000 may not operate
correctly.
The new IF-694 board is delivered with the default
setup when shipped from the factory. Be sure to return
all the settings to those before the board was replaced.
12. Return the switch of S600 (A-1) on the IF-694 board
to the setting before it was replaced.
13. Attach the top panel.
