1-5-7. LENS Connector

When opening the side panel during or immediately after use of the unit, be careful as the board panel is
very hot and touching it may result in burns. When opening the side panel to perform inspections and
adjustments, turn off the power and wait 10 minutes for the unit to cool down first.

Refer to Section 1-8 for details on disconnecting/connecting the flexible card wire.
1. Remove the MB-830 board. (Refer to Section 1-10-3.)
2. Separate the chassis assembly and base chassis assembly. (Refer to steps 1 to 4 of Section 1-5-1.)
3. Remove the three screws, and disconnect the harness connector from the CN1 connector on the CN-
1927 board.

4. Remove the two screws, and remove the CN-1927 board.
5. Remove the nut and pull out the LENS connector with harness.

6. Install a new LENS connector in the reverse order of removal.

When installing the LENS connector, check that pin 1 is on the upper side of connector.
