NOTES ON HANDLING THE OPTICAL PICK-DISC MAGAZINE GETTING OUT PROCEDURE
ON THE POWER SUPPLY IS OFF

NOTES ON LASER DIODE EMISSION CHECKLever (ML.S)
The laser beam on this model is concentrated so as to be focused
on the disc reflective surface by the objective lens in the optical
pick-up block. Therefore, when checking the laser diode emis-
sion, observe from more than 30 cm away from the objective lens.

If the optical pick-up block is defective, please replace the whole
optical pick-up block.
Never turn the semi-fixed resistor located at the side of optical
pick-up block.

Flexible Circuit Board Repairing
YKeep the temperature of the soldering iron around 270 uC dur-
SEMI-FIXEDing repairing.
RESISTORY Do not touch the soldering iron on the same conductor of the
circuit board (within 3 times).
Y Be careful not to apply force on the conductor when soldering
or unsoldering.
Notes on chip component replacement
YNever reuse a disconnected chip component.
Y Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor may be dam-
aged by heat.
