5. IN/OUT Block
This block consists of the followings:
PLD0 AVIOGLUE (IC1012)
SDI IN (IC902)
SDI OUT (IC901)
DA IN (IC801)
DA OUT (IC802)
256F GEN (IC803)
PLD0 AVIOGLUE (IC1012) performs the data transaction between this block and PLD1 ENCGLUE
(IC1105) such as receiving the video signal from SDI IN (IC902), receiving the audio signal from DA IN
(IC801) and sending the audio signal to DA OUT (IC802).
The PLD0 AVIOGLUE (IC1012) also extracts the H signal from the video input and controls both the
video PLL (that generates the 27 MHz master signal) and the 256FS GEN (IC803).
SDI IN (IC902) converts the SDI video input from serial to parallel signal, and sends the parallel signal to
PLD0 AVIOGLUE (IC1012).
SDI OUT (IC901) receives directly the video signal from PLD2 DECGLUE (IC101), converts it from
parallel to serial signal, and outputs the serial signal to the SDI video output.
DA IN (IC801) and DA OUT (IC802) is the AES/EBU digital audio interface that performs AES/EBU
input/output and transaction of the audio signal with the AVIOGLUE (IC1012).
256FS GEN (IC803) is the clock generator that generates 256Fs signal from video master clock 27 MHz.
6. PCI BRIDGE Block
This block consists of the following:
PCI BRIDGE (IC2102)
The block establishes interface between the PCI bus and local bus of the board.
PLD0 AVIOGLUE (IC1012) controls the IN/OUT block.
PLD1 ENCGLUE (IC1105) controls the ENCODER/9P-REMOTE block and AUDIO block. PLD2
DECGLUE (IC101) controls the DECODER/SCREEN-SYNTHESIZER block.
