This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

SETTING THE SLEEP TIMERMICROPHONE MIXING

Connect a microphone with a mini plug to the
MIC jack.
I Press SLEEP.
Prepare a source to be mixed and play it.
Adjust the volume of the microphone with MIC
VO-L and the source to be mixed with VOLUME.
zWithin 4 seconds, press+or -tospecifyTo record the microphone mixing sound
Inserta cassettetobe recordedon intodeck 1 and pressl
the time untilthe power isturned off.REC.
Each timethebuttonispressed,thetimechanges
between 5 and 240 minutesin5-minutesteps.
.Duringdubbing athighspeed,the microphone mixing
sound isnotrecorded.
lIfa microphone isplacedtooclosetothespeaker,a
howlingsound (feedback)may be produced.Ifthis
Specifiedtimehappens, move themicrophone away from thespeaker or
decrease the main volume.
