Contains mechanism diagrams, parts lists and schematics for all worldwide versions of DC-X88Z. Also includes remote schematic etc. A few non-essential pages are missing such as specifications. Includes the mechanical and electronic calibration instructions for the tape decks.

1PresstheTUNEFUBANDbuttontoselecttheband.
You can alsoselectthetunerby pressingtheTUNER/BAND
buttonwiththepower off.Afterthepower comes on,pressit
againas followstoselecttheband.

2Press the ++ DOWNor *E UP buttonto selecta
station.
Each timeitispressed,thefrequencychanges.
When a stationisreceived,TUNE isdisplayedfor4 seconds.
DuringFM stereoreception,([(o]))isdisplayed.
To search fora stationquickly(Auto search)
Keep the<+ DOWN orDE UP buttonpresseduntilthetuner
startssearchingfora station.Aftertuningintoa station,the
searchstops.
The searchmay notstopatstationswithveryweak signals.
When an FM stereobroadcast isnoisy
Pressthe FM MODE buttonon the remotecontrolto display
MONO. +q
Backgroundnoiseisreduced,thoughreceptionismonaural.
To restorestereoreception,presstheFM MODE buttonagainto
extinguishMONO.
To change the AM tuning interval
The AM tuningintervalisfactory-setto10 kHz.
Ifyouusethisunitinanareawherethefrequencyallocationsystem
is9 kHz,changetheAM tuninginterval.
WiththeTUNER functionselected,pressthePOWER buttonwhile
pressingtheTUNER/BAND button.To resettheinterval,repeat
thisprocedure.
FM MODE

When theAM tuningintervalischanged,allpresetstations(see
page 44)arecleared.The presetstationshavetobe setagain.
