adhesivetape,etc.

deformedordamaged.They arenotrecommended.
lTake up any slackinthetapewitha pencilorsimilartool
Use Type I(normal)tapesonly,beforeuse.Slacktapemay breakorjam inthemechanism.
1 Press the TAPE button and press the A EJECT
mark to open the cassetteholder.

holdertoclose.
2 Press the - buttonto s~artplay.
Onlythesidefacingoutfromtheunitcan be playedback.

To selecta playingdeck
When tapesare loadedinbothdecks,presstheTAPE button
firsttoselecta deck.
The selecteddeck number isdisplayed.
To stop play,pressthen button.
To pause play(deck2 only),pressthe II button.To resume
play,pressagain,
To fastforwardor rewind,pressthe~or~button.Then
pressthen buttontostopthetape,
To startplaywhen the power isoff(DirectPlayFunction)
PresstheTAPE button.The power isturnedon and playofthe
insertedtapebegins;
To setthe tape counter to 0000
Pressthen CLEAR buttoninstopmode.
The counterisalsosetto 0000 when the cassetteholderis
opened.
When tapes are loaded inboth decks
Afterplaybackon deck 1 finishes,thetapeinthedeck 2 will
starttoplaywithoutinterruption.(Continuousplay)
