Allen screws to securely hold the arm in the collar. You could make fine VTA adjustment even lifting up & down the height adjustable pin put on the top of the
pivot tower, but you need to be awarded that it changes the tone-arm geometry changing the sonic behaviour of the tonearm.
Note: Some cartridges have there own specific VTA requirements. Please check your cartridge manual for this info.
14) Adjust the cartridge in the head shell to a position where it is parallel to the grooves in the record, using a protractor supplied.

15) Check to see if the hydraulic arm lift works properly. It should raise the arm enough to lift the cartridge 1/8- 3/16 of an inch off of the record, yet not lift it too
much as to bind the arm in the back of the pivot tower. The arm rest should be positioned just slightly higher than the arm lift when the arm lift is in the up
position, if it is not, the tone -arm may be forced off of the pivot tower every time you put it back into the arm rest. Adjustment of the arm rest requires loosening the
small lock nut on the shaft of the arm rest, and turning it until you achieve the desired height. You may find it necessary to pull the black armrest off, in order to
turn the shaft. Adjustment of the arm lift is done using the small Allen wrench, and loosening the small Allen screw in the side of the arm lift, located at the top of
the vertical arm lift shaft. This will enable you to slide the armrest up and down on the arm lift shaft.To install the wire anti skate in sert the fishing wire into the
small round shaped weight supplied then insert the fishing wire into the hole of the rod present at in front of the pivot tower at its top. Make a knob not to let the
wire slipping away. Then lay the wire on one of the 2 gr ooves horizontal cylinder inserted in the visible anti skate rod next to the arm rest black clip.

Positioning of Bellaria Tone-arm
The BELLARIA tonearm has been designed for use in Hi-Fi systems in sheltered locations. It ought therefore to be protected from any eventual
variations in temperature and humidity. Avoid using in the vicinity of radiators or other strong heat sources, electrical and electronic motors,
switched on mobil e phones etc.
The location in proximity of other audio components is not theoretically critical, but you should nevertheless pay attention to this. If the
turntable should have to be moved after the tonearm has been installed, certain readjustments may need to be made. In any case, take care to
lock the BELLARIA tonearm every time you need to move it, or to move the turntable on which it is installed.
The connection to the cartridge of BELLARIA must be done as follows:
RED: + Right Channel
WHITE : + Left Channel
BLACK or GREEN : - Right Channel
BLUE: - Left Channel and GROUND
Operating Conditions
Once it has been correctly mounted on your turntable, and once the supplied cable linking the connector located on the bottom of the Shaft and
the amplifier to the PHONO input set for the pre -installed cartridge has been connected, your BELLARIA tonearm is ready for use.
NOTE: Never disassemble any part of the product for any reason whatsoever. The BELLARIA tonearm could be irreparably
damaged and the guarant ee would be invalidated. |
