POWER: After making sure that the VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH (36), found on the rear panel, is properly set, plug the unit in an1
electrical outlet using the POWER JACK (37) and press the POWER (1) button.
DISC IN/OUT SLOT: This CD Player is a front loading player. Just insert the disc into the slot and the unit will automatically load the disc

into the drive mechanism. The unit can take support 12 cm, and 8 cm sized CD?s.
Note: Do not force a disc into the slot when the power to the unit is OFF.
DISC IN/OUT LED: The DISC IN/OUT LED (3) blinks green and stays solid when loading a CD. When a CD is not in the player the LED is off.

DISPLAY: The DISPLAY (4) displays the TRACK NUMBER, TRACK LIST, TRACK PITCH / BPM VALUE, AUTO CUE SINGLE/CONTINUE,4
MASTER TEMPO, TIME DISPLAY, PLAY/PAUSE MODE, and PLAYBACK DISPLAY BAR (5).
PLAYBACK DISPLAY BAR: The PLAYBACK DISPLAY BAR (5) displays the TIME ELAPSED and TIME REMAINING on the track in a5
bar format that flashes slowly when the track has 30 seconds left and flashes quickly when the track has 15 seconds left.
6PLAY/PAUSE : Pressing the PLAY/PAUSE (6) button activates PLAY or PAUSE mode. Pressing the button once plays the track and
pressing it again pauses the track, this feature is used in ROBO START (21) also. The CD Player can be CUED when the unit is in PLAY/
PAUSE mode.
7TRACK SKIP : The TRACK SKIP (7) buttons let you select the track to play.
8SEARCH DIAL: Use the SEARCH DIAL (8) to scan forward and reverse direction of the TRACK . Turning the dial in the clockwise
direction will scan forward and counter clockwise will scan in reverse. The scanning speed increases as the dial is turned further.
9DIRECT ACCESS: Use the DIRECT ACCESS (9) keys to select what track to play and to set a precise CUE POINT.
10JOG WHEEL: The JOG WHEEL (10) can be used for many functions. Use the JOG WHEEL (10) to make fine adjustments in PAUSE mode for a
STUTTER EFFECT. When you turn the JOG WHEEL (10) in NORMAL play it will bend the pitch for precise mixing. If the SCRATCH (32) button is
on while turning the JOG WHEEL (10) the wheel SCRATCHES like a real RECORD. The JOG WHEEL (10) can be used to set a CUE POINT, and adjust
the effects parameters when using the effects buttons.
11STOP/EJECT : Pressing STOP/EJECT (11) will end the playing of the CD. Press once to stop, twice to eject, or press and hold down to eject.
12TIME: TIME (12) has three modes: TIME ELAPSED on the track, TOTAL TIME REMAINING on the disc, and TIME REMAINING on the track
as well. Time is measured in MINUTES, SECONDS, AND FRAMES. The TIME (12) button switches the time preference in the DISPLAY (4)
SEAMLESS LOOP BUTTONS (13-15):
13FLY CUE1: FLY CUE1 (13) lets you set CUES on the fly with one press of a button for the SEAMLESS LOOP feature and for CUE1/
PREVIEW (16). While the unit is in the PLAY mode press FLY CUE1 (13) where you want the CUE POINT to be for CUE1/PREVIEW (16) or for
the SEAMLESS LOOP. The CD still plays after this so you can reset the FLY CUE1 (13) button again, right after you set it.
14CUE1-B/EXIT: After a CUE POINT is memorized, pressing the CUE1-B/EXIT (14) button in PLAY mode, plays a SEAMLESS LOOP between the
CUE POINT and the point where CUE1-B/EXIT (14) was pressed. Press CUE1-B/EXIT (14) again to exit the repeating loop.
Pressing the button a third time starts a new loop with a new CUE 1-B POINT.
15RETURN: To play a loop from a saved CUE POINT or SEAMLESS LOOP, pressing RETURN (15) will return to the loop or play from the CUE.
16CUE1/PREVIEW: CUE1/PREVIEW (16) has a two different modes: CUE1 or PREVIEW. After a CUE POINT has been memorized by using FLY
CUE1 (13) or SET CUE (19) , pressing the CUE1/PREVIEW (16) button will cause the CD player to enter PAUSE mode PLAY/PAUSE (6) button
blinks green, at the memorized CUE POINT, CUE1/PREVIEW (16) glows red. To set a CUE POINT , when the CD Player is PAUSED, use the
JOG WHEEL (10) while the CD Player is paused or use SET CUE (19) and the DIRECT ACCESS (9) keys. You can preview the CUE POINT by
holding down CUE1/PREVIEW (16) when the CD Player is PAUSED, refer to CUE INSTRUCTIONS (PG. 8) for details.
17HOT START CUE1: To instantly return and play from a CUE POINT from CUE1/PREVIEW (16) or FLY CUE1 (13). Pressing the HOT START
CUE1 (17) button after a CUE POINT is in memory causes continuous playback from the CUEPOINT. However HOT START CUE1 (17)
works like RETURN (15) if in a SEAMLESS LOOP.
18AUTO CUE SINGLE/CONTINUOUS: The AUTO CUE SINGLE/CONTINUOUS (18) button changes the three different modes of play:
NORMAL, AUTO CUE SINGLE, and CONTINUOUS mode(s). The unit will play the whole CD and stop at the end of the disc in NORMAL mode, in
AUTO CUE SINGLE mode the player will play a single track and CUE the following track, and in CONTINUOUS mode the whole CD
plays from beginning to end and repeats.
19SET CUE: SET CUE (19) is used to set a CUE by using the HOT STARTS (20) buttons or CUE1/PREVIEW (16). You can manually set the CUE using
DIRECT ACCESS (9) followed by the HOT STARTS CUE 2-4 (20) or CUE1/PREVIEW (16). After setting the CUE POINT pressing the HOT STARTS
(20) buttons will play the CUE POINT and pressing the CUE1/PREVIEW (16) will CUE up the CUE POINT, for a HOT START from CUE1/PREVIEW
(16) you can use the HOT START CUE1 (17).
