Color SystemThis function allows you to automatically change tint and color coordinates for DTV programs.
HDTV - High Definition Television - Use for High Vision Signal Y-PBPR from HDTV Set-Top Box.
SDTV/DVD - Standard Definition Television or DVD (Digital Versatile Disc Player) Y-CBCR.
NOTES: 1. If Color System is set improperly (does not match actual input signal), the color and tint of the main picture will be
abnormal.
2. You must be tuned to VIDEO: 1 or 2 inputs and have a component hooked up to the Y-PPinput jacks to access this

color system.
3. All component color type settings will affect only color component input you are currently viewing. If you are using
both sets of component input jacks, be sure to set the color system feature for both inputs.

settings to produce the highest quality picture possible.

Use CURSOR , to highlight functions.
Press the SELECT button to select the function setting. When the function has an O� in the box, it is ON.
Press the SELECT button to change COLOR TEMPERATURE setting. When the function shows a O �, it is selected.
Press EXIT to quit menu or CURSOR to return to previous menu.
Color Temperature

Set this to High for less intense colors with more blue, set to Medium for hotter colors with more red, or set to Standard for
standard colors.
Dimmer
Turn ON the DIMMER function to reduce picture contrast and brightness automatically when viewing in a dark room.
Auto Color
The AUTO COLOR function automatically monitors and adjusts the color to maintain constant color levels even after a program or
channel changes. It also maintains natural flesh tones while preserving fidelity of background colors.
Noise Reduction
The NOISE REDUCTION function automatically reduces conspicuous noise in the picture without degrading picture quality.
When the Noise Reduction feature is ON, the Sharpness feature is disabled.
Scan Velocity Modulation
The SCAN VELOCITY MODULATION function automatically enhances the edges between light and dark areas.
Black Level Expansion
The BLACK LEVEL EXPANSION function automatically enhances shadow detail in dark scenes.
