Air Ţlter The air Ţlter is Ţtted in the air Ţlter cowling.
The air Ţlter must be regularly cleaned to remove dust and dirt
in order to avoid:
Y Carburettor malfunctions
Y Starting problems
Y Loss of engine power
Y Unnecessary wear to engine parts.Ensure that the Ţlter is soaked in oil before reŢtting it.
Y Excessive fuel consumption.
Clean the Ţlter every 40 hours, or more regularly if conditions
are exceptionally dusty.
An air Ţlter that has been in use for a long time cannot be
cleaned completely. The Ţlter must therefore be replaced with
a new one at regular intervals. A damaged air Ţlter must
always be replaced.
Oiling the air Ţlter
Always use HUSQVARNA Ţlter oil, art. no. 531 00 60-76. The
Å¢lter oil contains a solvent to make it spread evenly through

Contact can result in burns to the skin.
Put the Ţlter in a plastic bag and pour the Ţlter oil over it.
Knead the plastic bag to distribute the oil. Squeeze the

Loosen the two fasteners holding the air Ţlter cowling and
remove the Ţlter. Wash the Ţlter clean in warm, soapy water.
