7 About the Menu Screens
This monitor features MAIN MENU which contains the functions normally used and SET-UP MENU which contains
the initial settings of the monitor.
MAIN MENU
ItemsFunctionsDisplays
APERTURE CONTROLCompensates the frequency characteristics of the luminance signal of a video signal.*
SLOT CONDITIONDisplays the status of the input cards installed in each of the input card slots.
sub menu POSI.Selects the display position of the sub menu superimposed on the screen.
AREA MARKERControls ON/OFF and other settings of the MARKER SELECT, ZOOM, ASPECT
SELECT, and SAFETY MARKER functions included in the AREA MARKER function.
COLOR MATRIXSelects or adjusts the standard of the color demodulation (color rendering).*
About ODisplays� *: Not displayed when an RGB signal is input.
When some items are not displayed depending on the input signals, subsequent items will move up.
Position of the menu varies depending on the type of signal.
SET-UP MENU
ItemsFunctions
FUNCTION SETTINGSelects the control systems for the COLOR SYSTEM, synchronized signal, RUSH DELAY TIME,
tally lamp colors, and MAKE/TRIGGER terminal.
Y Checks the amount of time that the monitor has been used.
Y Sets the AUTO INPUT function ON/OFF. (When an input card compatible with AUTO INPUT is
installed.)
Y Selects the audio channel group for the EMBEDDED AUDIO. (When an input card compatible
with EMBEDDED AUDIO is installed.)
PICTURE SUB ADJ.Controls the approximate adjustment of the video control level when the video adjustment knob is
adjusted to the centre.
Y Can also be used to switch the NTSC set-up level, and change the component or SD SDI
signalOs input level settings.
COLOR TEMP./BAL.Sets or adjusts the color temperature and white balance.
SIZE/POSI. ADJ.Adjusts the size and position of the picture.
Y Can also be used to adjust the zoomed picture size.
DISTORTION ADJ.Compensates the picture distortion and tilt.
STATUS DISPLAYSets the items related to the display screens, such as the status display or the AUDIO LEVEL
METER display (when an input card compatible with AUDIO LEVEL METER is installed).
Y Can also be used to set the 1080/60i or 1035/60i signal displayed correctly.
CONTROL LOCKProhibits altering the monitor operations except turning the monitor on/off and deactivating this
function.
all resetResets all the settings you have made to factory-preset values.
Y Adjustments made by using the front panel buttons will also be reset. (Picture adjustments
made by the knobsNPHASE, CHROMA, BRIGHT, and CONTRASTNwill not be reset.)
