Program AE With Special EffectsShooting Mode Selector
Useful in making the picture look creative and attractive.FAR
Effects can be selected during recording, as well as in
+EFFECT/PROG.AERecord�Standby.
SELECT SHOOTING MODE
Set the Shooting Mode selector to either OFULL
1AUTO� or OPRESET�.
If you set to OFULL AUTO�, . . .
.... only the Cinema mode can be activated.
If you set to OPRESET�, . . .
.... you can choose any one of the 8 effectsNEAR
�available.
SELECT EFFECT
If you set to OFULL AUTO�, . . .
2.... pressing EFFECT/PROG.AE turns the Cinema
mode on and off.
If you set to OPRESET�, . . .
.... pressing EFFECT/PROG.AE brings up the Effect
menu. Press again to move the highlight bar to
the desired effect. Once you decide on an
effect, it is selected and activated, and its
indicator appears, within 2 seconds.
YIf you started this procedure in the Record�
OFFStandby mode, press RECORDING START/STOP
1 Cinema
2 Sepiato begin recording at this point.
3 Twilight
4 SportsDEACTIVATE EFFECT
5 HI.S 1/2000When the Shooting Mode Selector is set to OFULL
6 Classic Film3AUTO�, . . .
7 Strobe.... press EFFECT/PROG.AE.
8 Slow Shutter
When set to OPRESET�, . . .
.... press EFFECT/PROG.AE to bring up the Effect
Menu, and press again to move the highlight barEffect menu
to OOFF�.
NOTE:
If OShift Zoom� (Z pg. 17) is set to O50x� or O140x�,
Program AE effects cannot be used.
