Shooting while watching the LCD monitor
Before the following steps, perform step 1 (Z pg. 15).
ENTER RECORD�STANDBY MODE
LENS COVER
Make sure the LCD monitor is fully open. Slide the
Switch2LENS COVER open/close switch to open the lens
cover, then set the power switch to CAMERA.
YThe power indicator lights and the camcorder
enters the Record�Standby mode.
POWERYThe scene youOre aimed at appears in the LCD
monitor, with the word OPAUSE� superimposed
Start/Stopupon it.
Power indicatorSTART SHOOTING
Tilt the LCD monitor upward/downward for best
3viewability (Z pg. 17) and press the Recording
MONITORStart/Stop button.
OPEN
YThe tally lamp lights while recording is in progress,
and OREC � appears in the LCD monitor.
STOP RECORDING
Press the Recording Start/Stop button again to stop
4recording.
YThe camcorder re-enters the Record-Standby
Tape remaining time indicatormode.
